General
- 01My books open approximately every three months. Booking announcements are typically shared through my Instagram page, and you may also join my waitlist to receive a notification when bookings become available. When bookings open, you can submit a request through the Booking Request Form on my website. Providing detailed information about your project will help me evaluate your request and determine whether we are a good fit. If I believe I am the right fit for your project, you will be contacted with a quote. We can then discuss appointment dates that best suit your schedule and the scope of the project. A deposit is required to secure all appointments. For larger projects requiring multiple sessions, a deposit of $100 per session is typically requested. For example, a project requiring five appointments would require a total deposit of $500. This amount will be applied toward the final session once the project has been completed. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Deposits reserve your appointment date(s) and ensure your commitment to the time that has been set aside specifically for your project.
- 02Because every tattoo and every client are unique, it is difficult to predict exactly how many sessions a project will require. Factors such as placement, skin type, design complexity, and healing all play a role in the overall process. That being said, most projects typically fall within the following ranges: Full Sleeve 2-3 sessions for heavy blackwork (solid black) 4–5 sessions for more detailed projects Full Leg Sleeve 2–4 sessions for heavy blackwork 6–8 sessions for more detailed projects Full Back / Full Front 4–8 sessions, depending on the design Chest Piece / Upper Back 2–4 sessions, depending on the design Full 360° Neck 2–5 sessions, depending on the design Please note that these estimates are provided as general guidelines and may vary from project to project. For a more accurate estimate and quote, feel free to submit a Booking Request Form. I will review your project and get back to you with a personalized assessment.
- 03In the days leading up to your appointment, there are a few simple things you can do to help ensure your skin is in optimal condition and your body is prepared for the healing process. Drink plenty of water and stay well hydrated. Eat balanced, nutritious meals. Moisturize the area daily using a fragrance-free lotion (such as Aveeno®). Prioritize a good night's sleep and adequate rest. Limit alcohol consumption and avoid recreational drug use when possible. Avoid excessive sun exposure and sunburns, especially on the area that will be tattooed. On the day of your appointment, please arrive well rested and having eaten a proper meal. For longer sessions, bringing water and a few snacks is always recommended. Arriving well hydrated, well rested, and with healthy skin will help make your tattoo session more comfortable and support optimal healing afterward.
- 04To help you stay comfortable and maintain your energy throughout the day, especially during longer sessions, you may wish to bring the following: A bottle of water and any refreshments you may enjoy during longer sessions. A lunch and a few snacks. Something to help pass the time, such as a book, music, a tablet, a laptop, or a handheld gaming device. You are also welcome to bring one guest if you would like some company during your appointment. To ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for everyone in the studio, please limit your group to one additional person. Being well rested, well fed, and properly hydrated will help make your tattoo session a more enjoyable experience from start to finish.
- 05Choosing comfortable clothing can make a significant difference during your appointment, especially for longer sessions. Wear comfortable clothing that you can sit in for several hours. Choose clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed. If you tend to get cold easily, feel free to bring an extra layer such as a hoodie, sweater, or small blanket. Keep in mind that tattooing can occasionally result in small ink or stencil marks on clothing. Whenever possible, wear items that you don't mind exposing to the tattooing process.
- 06For tattoo appointments, deposits, and merchandise purchases, the following payment methods are accepted: Cash (in person only) E-transfer Debit Card (2.6% processing fee applies) Credit Card (2.6% processing fee applies) To avoid processing fees, cash and e-transfer are preferred. Please note that any applicable processing fees are charged by the payment providers and are added only when using the corresponding payment methods.
- 07Because every person's skin reacts differently, I generally do not recommend the use of numbing creams prior to a tattoo appointment. In some cases, numbing products can affect the texture and behavior of the skin, make stencil application more difficult, impact the tattooing process, or alter the way the skin heals. For these reasons, I strongly encourage clients to avoid applying numbing cream unless it has been discussed and approved beforehand. That being said, I understand that certain projects, placements, or personal circumstances may make pain management a concern. If you are considering the use of a numbing product, please contact me prior to your appointment so we can discuss the available options. I also keep a professional numbing spray available in the studio, which can be used during the tattoo session when appropriate. In many cases, this provides sufficient relief without the potential drawbacks associated with pre-applied numbing creams.
